Established in 2006, The Bank Shorthorns, is operated by Brett and Ashlee White, alongside their four sons.
Ashlee inherited the family’s ‘diamond dot’ distinctive brand and the search for a stud name began.
Ultimately, we settled on The Bank, the name of a large dam in the middle of a floodout plain on Cowarie Station where Ashlee grew up. We felt this name complimented my brand ‘diamond dot’. After all, where better to put your diamonds than in a bank?
Our breeding philosophy is to breed a consistent type of animal suitable to Australian conditions. Focusing on functional, structurally correct cattle that are designed to not only survive, but to THRIVE in the tough northern pastoral country. With an emphasis on FFPL;

The stud’s foundation herd is a mixture of females purchased from Belmore, Bundaleer, Nero, SPJ and Bayview studs.
